DivERP Staff app — Privacy Policy
The DivERP app, for iPhone and Android, is what a dive centre’s crew use at work: to check in, run the day’s dives, take payments and answer guests. It is for staff only. Your account is created by the Business you work for, and what the app records belongs to that Business, as everything else in DivERP does.
What the app records
- When you check in, the app records the one place you checked in from — inside or outside the dive centre’s circle — and keeps it with that day’s attendance. It never follows you during the day.
- Check-in happens once a day: when you arrive inside the circle your Business drew around its Location, when you open the app inside it, or when you tap Check in. If the app checks you in when you only passed by, you have five minutes to undo it.
- How far you were from the nearest Location, if you checked in outside its circle, and the reason you gave, if any.
- How accurate the phone said that place was. Your Business’s managers can open it on a map.
- That you agreed to the above, with the wording you agreed to, when you first opened the app.
- Your name and email from your account, and an identifier for your phone so the app can sync and send you notifications.
- The work you do in it: the guests you took on each dive, the conditions you logged, gear you swapped, payments you took and the messages you sent to guests.
What it never does
- Record your route, or any location after check-in.
- See card or bank details. Card and UPI payments are processed by the payment provider, not by DivERP.
- Show you ads, or sell what it records.
Location permission
You can say no to location when the app first asks. You can still check in by tapping; the app then takes one reading at that moment, wherever you are. You can change your answer at any time in your phone’s settings.
Who sees it
The managers of your Business, according to the roles the Business gave them, use it for your attendance and your season’s figures. A manager who corrects a check-in has to give a reason, and the correction is recorded. If you work a day for another Business, that Business’s managers can see where you checked in for that day. No other Business sees any of it, and the platform’s own operators read it only to fix a fault your Business reports.
Seeing, correcting or removing it
To see, correct or remove what the app holds about you, ask your Business. To raise it with the platform, write to privacy@diverp.com and name the Business you work for.
